We tested Rokker's black jacket (£429) over three months across 500 miles to let you know what's good and what's not.
What’s good? The main thing this Rokker jacket has going for it is style and build quality. Firstly, it looks ultra-cool and has a sleek, slim fit. I’ve found myself wearing it more as a going out jacket than a motorcycle one. It comes with shoulder, elbow and back protectors which easily slip out and you’d never know it is intended for motorcycling.
The shell is wind resistant and water repellent and comes with a multitude of pockets. I’ve used this on a bunch of recent retro bike launches and am impressed with the style and quality.
What’s not? The asking price is pretty hefty – too hefty for my liking. It is a quality bit of kit and looks fantastic but it’s hard to justify nearly £430.
