Covering 5,000 miles in the RST Tractech EVO II has proved it to be a classy one-piece suit that is all-day comfy.
Nothing can compare to slipping into a one-piece and heading out for a good blast. Comfort is everything for me when it comes to riding kit, and the RST Tractech EVO II suit delivers. As an owner and unplanned crash tester of the first version of this suit, I knew that RST made a great fitting one-piece, but version two ups the ante when it comes to quality and price. Wearable all day long, day after day and easy to get in and out of, it scores highly on comfort. It comes with a removable CE Level 1 back protector and improved shoulder sliders. Another important thing for me is internal pockets, which many suits seem to lack. Lucky for me, this suit has two of them which are perfect for a mobile and some cash without the need for a backpack or tank bag. Zips are nice and smooth and the collar and hump allow more than adequate movement on the track. RST have crammed little details in everywhere along with some great colours to choose from, whatever your taste.
My biggest gripe with this suit was the Velcro wrist straps which can rub and irritate the skin on the base of your thumb. Once bedded in, attaching the strap at an angle helps overcome this. Also, the shoulders are rather large thanks to the protection and not as aesthetically pleasing as other suits.
