Luggage review; Oxford Sprint tankbag

Oxford Sprint Tankbag £74.99
Tester: Michael Neeves
Miles covered/time: 4200/three months

What’s good? This tankbag doesn’t actually fit my Ducati because it’s magnetic and the bike has a plastic tank, so I have to bungee it to my R&G frame protectors, not a big deal as it literally takes seconds to do. There’s lots of room in here, enough to take a pair of trainers stuffed with socks, a chain lock, maps, sat nav and documents/wallet/passport/money in the side pockets. I’ve broken the rubber end on one of the zips by overpacking the bag, which is my fault. It still zips up, though. Thankfully Oxford offer a lifetime guarantee on their zips, so they’ll replace them even if the breakage is your own fault.
What’s not? The map pocket tapers in a bit too much, so you have to really fold your map up to make it fit.
