Kit review: Go Pro HD Camera
Go Pro HD Camera, £299.99
Miles covered/time: Countless road tests/six months.
What’s good? This onboard HD camera is an essential part of my filming equipment. The video resolution really is of a very high quality, and the sound reproduction is top-notch, too. It’s also packaged in a small but very useful waterproof casing (which so far has been 100% waterproof). It’s simple to use, easy to install and perfectly sized for all types of onboard camera work. The optional suction cup can fit on almost any part of the bike for amazing footage, and it can also be programmed to take sequence photos. The battery life isn’t bad, lasting a couple of hours before charging directly via USB cable from your computer.
What’s not? It could do with a few more clip-on options for difficult-to-reach parts of the bike. Suction cup attachments are not foolproof.
