What’s up with my Triumph TT600’s electrics?

1 of 1

Q. My 2002 Triumph TT600 has started to behave strangely. One morning all the indicators including the dash lights disappeared. The horn is not working either.

At the same time both trip meters and the clock reset themselves after I switch off the ignition.

A. There is one fuse in charge of the horn, indicators, stop lights, instrument memory and diagnostics, so we’d start the search there.

If it’s blown start with a visual check of the wiring controlled by that fuse, working ‘in’ gradually from the indicators and stop lights, paying close attention to the connectors and wire routing for chafing or looseness.
