Product Review: Kriega R35 rucksack (£145)

1 of 1

What’s good about the Kriega R35 rucksack?

The quality of the bag is great - the zips and fasteners are all very substantial and after 12 months of regular use it’s showing no signs of wear and tear. The bag is large, it is a bonus for enabling me to carry loads of kit on my daily commute but I have a tendency to overfill it, making it a little heavy. The shoulder and chest straps are well padded, making them comfortable on long journeys.

And what’s not?

There is no getting away from the price - and for the money I’m rather disappointed that it doesn’t have a waterproof lining. The chest strap zips in place, which makes it comfortable when all zipped up and on the bike but when undone it makes the bag difficult to carry.
