Product review: Bagster Briant Apron

Tester Simon Relph

Time tested: Four years

This apron only ever comes out when the weather gets properly shitty. Week after week of snow, ice and heavy rain and the Bagster Briant becomes my best friend.

Easy and relatively quick to fit, it uses a top strap around the headstock and the bottom attaches around the carburettor inlets using five turnbutton fasteners.

Made from heavy duty PVC (to stop it from flying around in the wind) it has a fleecy lining to keep me snug and warm even on the coldest of days. In really heavy rain, some water manages to get between the apron and the tank, resulting in damp knees if I’m not wearing over trousers and although it may not look the part, boy does it work!
