I tested this Givi GRT705 tank bag over three months, covering 3000 miles.
The 705 is part of Givi’s Gravel-T range, costs around £118. It’s aimed at adventurers and off-roaders with a spec sheet to match, including a large map pocket (that’s touch sensitive for smartphones etc.), two external pockets, abrasion resistant material and a waterproof 20l main compartment.
It attaches to the non-slip base with adjustable clips, while the base itself can fit any bike and has a cut-out for a fuel filler. The real genius is that for an extra £65 you can add a power hub that sits inside the bag, which has three USB sockets and a 12v DC plug.
The only problem has been that the little rubber keeper for the outer plug snapped after 2500 miles but Givi did say this would be replaced free of charge.
