Shoei X-Spirit 3 £699.99
This is Shoei's top of the range sport helmet created from feedback from their experience in MotoGP. There are six air vents at the front and six exhaust vents at the rear to keep your head at optimum tenperature, and the space around the mouth has ben developed to ease breathing difficulty. The lockable visor is Pinlock ready and the lining is both removable and washable. Plain colours are £599.99
Shoei RYD £349.99
Shoei's mid-level helmet is a recent addition to the range, but one that's gone down well with Junior Web Producer James Archibald. Unlike the X-Spirit 3 above Shoei have kept the RYD as simple as possible to keep wind noise down to a minimum, but there are still vents on the chin and brow. The lining is again removable and washable and the RYD comes in four different shell sizes.
Shoei Hornet ADV £439.99
For those of you feeling a little more adventurous Shoei have the Hornet ADV. The visor and peak have been designed so the peak doesn't need tools to be removed to change the visor. The peak has also been redesigned to improve air flow and to stop it catching in the wind. The Hornet features emergency quick release cheek pads in the event of an emergency.
Shoei Neotec £499.99
Shoei listened to owners of the old Multitec and the Neotec is the end result. The flip-front Neotec features an integrated dropdown sun visor which filters 99% of UV light. A micro-ratchet system replaces the double-D fastener which Shoei say increase reliability. Shoei also claim the ventilation has improved by 276%. It's lighter than the Multitec, too.
Shoei J Cruise £379.99
The J Cruise improves on the previous model with the inclusion of an integrated drop down sun visor and noise reducing ear pads - vital with an open face helmet. The large visor has been treated with anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings and is Pinlock ready. The J Cruise also comes ready for an intercom system.
