Bikes for sale: Norton naughtiness

So we’ve brought you the first glimpse of the stunning new Norton V4RR this week. That got us wondering what other wonders from the famous British marque you can buy on, so obviously we had a gander and these are the machines that caught our eye…


Norton Dominator £32,980 

Seller says

“Norton Dominator SS, No. 07 hand built at the Donington Hall factory. Ultra rare, this bike is a special edition built by Norton after the massive success of the Domiracer. The bike here is showing just 30 miles and comes complete with a hand-made aluminium tank with the stunning silhouette union jack painted on the seat. A carbon flyscreen and a pair of superb hand crafted megaphone exhausts complete this unique Norton. The bike also comes with a personalised number plate relevant to the machine.” 


Norton Commando 961 SE £16,995

Seller says

“Unique opportunity to own the only brand new and unregistered UK Commando 961 SE, this was the last of 200 SE bikes hand-built at Donington Hall. It is the highest spec 961, including carbon wheels, hugger, number plate hanger, chain guard, front mudguard and comes with Brembo brakes, Öhlins suspension, classic black and gold paintwork, leather seat, original brochure, factory build sheets, and leather wallet with all documents. It has been kept in heated storage and is absolutely unused and immaculate.” 


Norton Commando 961 £12,999 

Seller says

“There are occasions when we get a bike in which people come and visit the shop just to see. This is one of them. I'd like to buy it myself but I don't know if I'd want to let it out of the living room. This Norton Commando has full service history, very low mileage, Öhlins suspension and Rizoma bar end mirrors and it's just gleaming.”


Norton Commando 750 £10,999

Seller says

“1973 Norton Commando 750 that has been fully restored and rebuilt with a period Dunstall body kit, drop handle-bars, rear sets, RGM fork and brake conversion, AP Lockheed caliper, new clocks. The bike is in excellent condtion and has been painted to a very high standard. If you are after something different this bike has had no expense spared and has to be viewed.”


Triton 650SS £10,999

Seller says

“This is a very special classic Triton. It’s a 1960 Slimline Dominator with a Triumph TR6 engine, built by Dave Degens of Dresda tuning specialists, ground up restoration to a very high spec with the engine highly modified with mods such as a Norton 850 crank, Triumph 750 pistons, new clutch, 10 stud head, re-angled valves, rebuilt gearbox with new main shaft, modified squish band, light weight rockers, double key shaft gearbox drive. The frame has been modified and painted, Dresda swingarm and rear wheel, new front disc, the list goes on, one receipt alone came to £2350, all in all a very well made Triton with all the right bits to make it a stunning classic.”
