An all-round brilliant motorcycle and a future classic make this Honda CBR600F today’s bike of the day.
“I am the 3rd owner of this superb bike! I have owned it for 2 years and covered over 10,000 miles with it. It is due an annual service but otherwise has full service history and has been well looked after. It has had the expensive valve clearance service done at 16,000 miles at my local Honda garage and has an MOT until April 2018. The bike has a new chain and sprocket kit, changed due to wear and tear. It has fairly new tyres. The paintwork is in good condition for a bike of this age. The only mods on this bike include an Arrow exhaust and a zero gravity double bubble screen but I also have the stock items if needed. The bike will come with two keys, original owner's manual and two remotes for the Datatool alarm which the bike is fitted with. It is a good first big bike but also can be a beast if you know what you are doing.”
“When the Honda CBR600F got fuel injection, it also had its personality split. From this point on, two Honda CBR600s would run concurrently: the Honda CBR600F and the Honda CBR600FS (later superseded by the Honda CBR600RR). One a sporty all-rounder, the other, a full-on sportsbike. The Honda CBR600F was, and remains, a brilliant motorcycle with real power and excitement but with the added practicalities to make it a contender for just about anyone’s garage.”
