Bikes catching our eye this week

Bikes for sale

There are over 14,000 bikes for sale on our site, so you're sure to find something that meets your wants and needs. These are the three bikes catching the eyes of some of our staff members this week.

Honda VFR800, £1,995

Seller says: “This legendary mile-muncher is in great condition for year, supplied with 2 keys, new MOT and service along with 3 months’ warranty.”

James Archibald, Web Producer says: “I have to admit, I’m biased when it comes to the Honda VFR800 as I have one sat in the garage myself, which I absolutely love. It’s a bike that is great to live with every day; yet is still brilliant fun when the sun starts shining and the roads start twisting. It’s also a great time to buy one as prices are starting to creep up as they become more sought after. And if that’s not reason enough to want one then you should hear the V4 sing with an aftermarket can on the end, beautiful!”

Piaggio Vespa GTS12, £2,995

Seller says: “Vepsa GTS125 Super in Red with only 11,997 miles, Full Service History and 1 Owner from New, Comes with Chrome Front Bumper, Chrome Front Rack, Chrome Panel Protectors and Chrome Rear Rack, it has a couple of chips on the front other than that a very nice Scooter.”

Maria Vallahis, Web Editor says: “It’s all about the styling with this scooter that I like. I can picture myself riding through Rome, on route to buy some gelato and just oozing cute and cool simultaneously in the city. ‘Twist and go’ and I’m off, best way for a newbie 125cc rider like myself to get some experience being on two-wheels without worrying about gear changes…for now. I’ve chosen the GTS125 Vespa, as I like the sporty-edge and 12,000 miles on the clock for a six-year-old bike isn't bad.”

Aprilia Tuono, £3,999

Seller says: “2008 Aprilia Tuono 1000cc in grey and with only 6513 miles. The bike is fitted with crash bobbins and a tinted screen, other than that it’s as standard. With very low mileage you can understand that we are listing this as very clean, if you are in the market for a big cc naked bike in very good condition then this is for you.”

Liam Marsden, Web Producer says: “This first generation Aprilia Tuono wasn't registered until 2008, which explains the low mileage and slightly high price, but it'll be worth it. Tuonos are proper cheeky bikes and wheelie machines - for me they're almost the perfect bikes for Sunday blasts on the road. They're really comfy too. This is only a standard model, but if I had the money and the patience I'd hold out for a Tuono Racing, which is the bling version dripping in carbon fibre and lightweight parts.”
