It’s the time of the year when everybody goes crazy for the colour green as St. Patrick's Day finds itself upon us.

Far from the odd leprechaun or two, in the biking world there's only one stand-out manufacturer repping "Team Green" - that would be Japanese firm Kawasaki.

So in honour of Paddy's Day we've selected five Kwaks just for you.

2013 Kawasaki ZX-10R, £7994

Seller says

"Kawasaki ZX-10R, 1000cc, 2013 - 63 Reg, 9,201 miles, green. Comes with an immobiliser and tail tidy. Excellent condition throughout, very well looked after, completely standard and unmodified, rare to find, top value for money and a riot to ride. It’s a very popular model. Epic litre Kawasaki in top class condition, don’t be long, it’s hot to trot."

MCN says

"At 198kg fully gassed, the ZX-10R has the best power to weight ratio of the other sportsbikes of the same year, and it isn't as intense to ride as BMWs S1000RR, so will suit a lot more riders. Good job, Kawasaki."

2012 Kawasaki ZX-6R, £5,699

Seller says

"Kawasaki ZX-6R RCF, 11,000 miles, performance edition. This bike is a real beauty and is fitted with the tinted DB screen, carbon Akrapovic exhaust, seat cowl, steering damper. It has the handbook and service book with three stamps, two keys and has a Datatool S4 alarm to Thatcham cat 1 with one fob present. Superb handling and superb performance at a superb price."

MCN says

"In terms of chassis and handling the 2012 ZX-6R was a big step forward over the old models. The big piston forks use MotoGP technology and make a huge difference. They take a little getting use to at first but enable you to brake devilishly late yet the bike remains stable. Engine wise, 115bhp at the back wheel makes it powerful as a standard 600, say no more."

2014 Kawasaki Ninja 300, £3,300

Seller says

"This one owner EX300 Ninja has been supplied and serviced by us and is in excellent condition with only 7,774 miles from new. Viewing is a must for this 300cc sports bike in the traditional Kawasaki racing green. A great first-time-bike for a new rider and comes supplied with FSH owners handbook, service book, two keys and alarm fobs Datatag and Datatool alarm."

MCN says

"Kawasaki hit the nail on the head with this bike. Finally the market has a practical, economical entry-level bike, which is easy to ride and desirable. At the time of release, the Japanese firm said 40% of buyers will be under 24 years old, going on sales of the 250, and it’s this kind of grassroots support motorcycling needs. Kawasaki also said 22% of 250 buyers were female and while the seat is no lower on the 300, it is much narrower near the tank, which means it is easier to reach the floor for shorter or less confident riders."

1998 Kawasaki ZX-9R, £2,999

Seller says

"This lovely Kawasaki ZX-9R is at CMC Coleshill, with an aftermarket exhaust tank pad and tinted screen. The bike really is in lovely condition for its age and is a really great example.”

MCN says

"Like so many motorcycles the ZX-9R began life as a sports machine, didn’t quite cut it and ended up as an excellent sporty sports-tourer. It’s indecently fast and should put 175+mph on the clock with minimal hassle. Early Kawasaki ZX-9Rs were heavy but from the ‘C’ variant of 1998 onwards it’s light enough to be a capable if not cutting edge sports machine."

2002 Kawasaki ZX-7R, £2495

Seller says

"Stunning example of a Kawasaki ZX-7R in green. Fitted with a carbon end can and crash mushrooms, the rest is completely standard. 12-month MoT and delivery possible."

MCN says

"The ZX-7R is proof that a motorcycle doesn’t have to be the latest, lightest and most powerful to be popular. It was no match for Suzuki’s GSX-R750 when launched in 1996 and was never updated significantly until it was deleted in 2003. But people love them and bought the ZX-7R because it looked great and they’re a decent road bike if not a match for the competition on the track."
