Bike of the day: MV Agusta Brutale 910R

Published: 07 April 2018

Why it’s MCN’s pick:

If you are after a naked bike with a bit of Italian style about it, the Brutale 910R could be worth a look. It’s one of the cheapest Brutale models to buy and also in many ways one of the most charming.

Instead of the triple engine, the 910R is powered by an inline four motor that comes from the firm’s F4 1000 superbike, but with a bit of retuning and altered capacity taking it down to 908cc and producing 137bhp with 70ft.lb of torque. True, it lacks the new triple’s growl, but once screaming that inline four wails like a good one and sounds awesome!

TOP STORIES

Add to this a sporty chassis, uprated Brembo brakes when compared to the stock S model and the 910R not only looks fantastic, it is also a very involving bike to ride. Like all MVs it’s not to everyone’s tastes, but it is certainly an interesting bike.

Seller says:

“Where do we start with this Brutale 910? It has covered just 8428 miles and comes complete with the original MV welcome pack containing both handbook, service sheet and DVD. The bike has a full service history having been serviced at 632, 3,010, 5,072, 6,112 and 7,355 miles. Comes with both keys and is fitted with £2000 worth of extras including an Arrow can, loads of carbon parts and PP tuning adjustable rear sets and crash protectors. Just had a new pair of tyres. This bike is a stunner and must be viewed.”
