Bike of the day: Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade

Published: 17 March 2018

Why it’s MCN’s pick:

MotoGP is kicking off this weekend in Qatar, so if you are a fan of MotoGP and especially the Honda team, this bike will certainly appeal.

Honda have released several official Repsol replica Fireblades, starting way back in 2005 on the ‘underseat pipe’ generation. So there is a Repsol rep Blade out there to suit most wallets.

We have picked this 2011 bike to highlight the Repsol paint scheme, which looks like an official Honda addition and not an aftermarket one. The great thing about the fact that Honda included a replica alongside more traditional paint schemes is that you can get a cool MotoGP look for about the same as one in stock colours. The less good thing would be if Repsol stop supporting Honda and switch to another manufacturer…

Seller says:

“Just in and presented in superb condition, this sought after Repsol Blade has just 11,757 miles recorded and a fully documented service history. Enhanced with a Yoshimura RS3 can, R&G crash, fork and swingarm protectors, tail tidy, ASV levers, Hel brake lines and a Honda colour coded hugger and seat cowl.”
