Bike of the day: Kawasaki Ninja 300

Changes to the motorbike licencing law created a gap in the market for 300cc, A2-compliant machines, and the Kawasaki Ninja 300 absolutely nailed it.

Kawasaki took aim at younger riders, but also female ones (based on the number of female riders who bought the old 250) with touches like a narrower seat near the tank to make it easier to touch your feet down if you’re smaller or less experienced.

The Ninja 300 was designed to be more refined than its 250cc predecessor. The four-stroke parallel twin sits on rubber mounts to reduce vibration, and it will sit happily at motorway speeds without shaking itself to bits.

On the right road, it’s actually quite good fun to ride. What more could you possibly want?

What the seller says:

“Stunning very low mileage example of this awesome 300 sportsbike from Kawasaki. ABS anniversary edition. Owner’s manual and service book. FSH. Still under manufacturer’s warranty.”

This Kawasaki and other Ninja 300 models are available now on MCN Bikes for Sale.
