If you decide you want an adventure bike, you may not think immediately of a Triumph, but the Triumph Tiger 800 XC is a genuine do-it-all machine to compete with the best of them.

The history of the Triumph Tiger reaches all the way back to the '30s, but these days they are thoroughly modern machines.

Making sure that BMW didn’t have it all their own way in the adventure bike segment with their mighty GS range, Triumph launched the Tiger 800 XC in 2010 alongside a slightly more road-biased version.

The handling is sharp and the bike feels equally at home crushing motorway miles or carving up B-roads as it does off-road.

Suffolk Triumph say: "This Triumph Tiger 800 XC is in nice condition throughout with just 16,000 miles on the clock. As the more off-road biased model, the XC has spoked wheels and is perfect for touring with heated grips and an adjustable screen.

"The stroked engine is perfectly suited to the Tiger 800 with a crisp and sharp throttle response and that typical Triumph triple wide range of usable power. Combined with the light clutch and perfectly slick gearbox, the Tiger 800 a doddle to ride.

"For riders looking for a genuine do-it-all machine, the Tiger 800 is one of the best used bikes on the market. Come to see this bike and many more quality new and used machines at our cosy showroom here at Suffolk Triumph."
