France makes it number three for Pichon

Michael Pichon continued his domination of the 250 class with a storming victory at his home GP at St Jean d’Angely, taking his season to three wins out of four so far.

Fellow Frenchman Fred Bolley was second, while Josh Coppins was able to keep Pichon’s 250 title in sight with third.

Britain’s Jamie Dobb came home in fifth, less than a minute behind Pichon.

Pichon extended his lead at the top of the table to 14 points, with Coppins on 74 points in second and Pit Beirer in third on 70. Dobb is lying in eigth place on 52 points.

Doctors have given Alessio Chiodi the all clear after he was hit by another rider. The incident happened at the first corner as the Yamaha rider fell and was then run over.
