Honda reveals British line-up

Honda’s decision to quit WSB (click on the link on the right for more details) means that we’re going to see factory-backed squads in Britain for the first time the 2000 season.

Steve Plater is confirmed as the sole rider in BSB, with Colin Edwards’ WSB title-winning SP-2 underneath him.

And there’s a new Supersport squad to campaign the new CBR600RR. Karl Harris leaves the Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000 behind to try and re-claim the title he won in 2001.

BSB series organiser Jos Foulston told MCN: ” When the call came Honda would be bringing the WSB title-winning bike to our series, it was like – Bring it on!
