Reynolds on pole for Cadwell

John Reynolds has put his Rizla Suzuki on pole for the British Superbike round at Cadwell Park.

Reynolds posted a Super 12 time of 1:24.733, taking pole from Michael Rutter, who was the fastest man in qualifying this morning. Rutter had to settle for second with a 1:24.784, just in front of championship leader Shane Byrne. Byrne, who could tie up the championship this weekend, finished with a 1:24.994. These three were the only riders to dip below 1 minute 25 seconds, with Steve Plater finishing the front row on the Honda SP-2 with a 1:25.172. Glen Richards put the Hawk Kawasaki at the start of the second row, with Sean Emmett, Gary Mason and Yukio Kagayama keeping him company.

MCN’s ad man, Adam Hitchcox has qualified in 30th place, in a field of 35 riders.
