Emmett lands last-minute Brands wildcard ride

Sean Emmett has landed a last-minute wildcard slot at this weekend’s Brands Hatch World Superbike round.

He will ride his ETI Ducati 998 British Superbike, which he took over in British Superbikes after being sacked by the Renegade Ducati team last month.

He said: “I’m extremely excited about this race. I love the long Brands Hatch track, it’s my local circuit and I’m looking forward to some good results.”

Emmett made his ETI debut at the weekend at Mondello Park, stunning his old team with a second place in the first race, and going all out for glory in the second with entertaining, if scary, results.
