Reynolds wins race one at Brands BSB

John Reynolds won the first race at Brands Hatch in Kent today, Sunday April 12, after a second-lap incident.

The pace car had to come out after Glen Richards and Sean Emmett came together on the approach to Druids on lap two. Once the race got back under way, there was no such drama for Reynolds, who went all the way to the chequered flag unchallenged, claiming the fastest lap in the process at 46.537 seconds. Michael Rutter had to work his way up into second place, whilst Reynolds’ Rizla Suzuki team-mate Yukio Kagayma took third.

Sean Emmett and MonsterMob Ducati returned to their winning ways with a victory in race two at Brands Hatch.

Emmett, managed to take the win from Honda’s Michael Rutter and race one winner John Reynolds, despite a suspected broken finger from his fall in the first race.

Despite the victory, the 34-year old Londoner was a little downhearted by his overall results.

" I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed to win a race. I’m relieved and really happy for the team because it’s the least they deserve but I had visions of doing the double here after being so strong all weekend. It’s Snetterton next, which is another of my favourite circuits. Everyone has their share of bad luck and hopefully I’ve now had mine
