Trucker wins Manx Snr

Lorry driver Davy Morgan won Friday’s Senior Manx GP by just 2.8 seconds – setting a new outright Manx GP lap record of 120.68mph in the process.

The 33-year-old Suzuki rider beat Ian Pattinson (Kawasaki). Alan Jackson was third.

Blustery winds meant Morgan was surprised by his new lap record. He described conditions as "wild".

Dean Silvester was fourth with Kenneth McCrae fifth and John Burrows sixth.

Morgan also set a new race record speed of 118.67mph.
