Tough one gets tougher

Changes will make The Tough One Enduro event even more challenging than previous years when it takes place on January 21, 2006 at Nantmawr Quarry, nr Oswestry.

The two-hour race will begin from a new starting area, with bikes lined up for a Le Mans-style start. Riders then face toughened sections of man-made obstacles including a lengthened log section, a boulder park, and a tyre section. The course will also be run in reverse to include some chellenging climbs.

But the biggest challenge will be running in darkness for around the final 45 minutes. Although several of the harder sections will get motorway lighting, the remainder will be lit only by the headlights on the rider. If you’re tempted to enter, follow the link, right.
