June 9: There’s no racing today at the TT as riders prepare for the final day of racing. The Senior TT starts at 10.45am, and the final Lap of Honour and Classic Parade takes place at 2pm in the afternoon.

June 5: The postponed Superbike TT took place in near perfect conditions and saw John McGuinness lead from start to finish to take the win by more than half and hour, Click here for the full story.

June 4: Mist and rain forced the First race of the year, the Superbike race, to be postponed until 2pm on Sunday June 5. But the weather cleared enough for the first Sidecar race to go ahead at 6pm.

Dave Molyneaux and Dan Sayle look set for another TT win but were forced to retire on the second lap leaving the way clear for Nick Crowe and Darren Hope to take their first TT victory.

June 2: The Thursday afternoon practice session had to be abandoned when mist failed to lift on the mountain section of the course. The next section is Friday evening, June 3, with thee racing beginning on Saturday.

Wednesday news: Bad weather resulted in the cancellation of Wednesday night’s TT practice session in the Isle of Man. A combination of rain, and thick mist on the mountain section of the course, forced the decision.

Next scheduled practice session is Thursday afternoon with roads due to close at 1.45pm.

Meanwhile, three of the four competitors who were involved in an incident at Sarah’s Cottage during Tuesday night’s practice session have now been released from Noble’s Hospital. Passengers Mark Cox and Philip Roberts suffered knee injuries and a cut elbow respectively, while driver Nigel Connole was treated for bruising.

The other sidecar driver involved – Gary Horspole – was taken to hospital suffering from spinal injuries. His condition is described as ‘serious but stable.’

Tuesday news: John McGuinness recorded the fastest lap of the week so far, with 125.262 mph lap in the Superbike class on a Yamaha R1. McGuinness was also fastest in Superstock practice, with 123.164. Riders reported near perfect conditions for the practice session.

There was an incident during the sidecar practice – in which three competitors were injured.
