Carmichael comeback

Ricky Carmichael overcame a crash during the final of the the Atlanta Supercross on Saturday, February 27 to win the event.

The Suzuki rider lost the front end of his RM250 while leading the race, but caught up a six second deficit to win. He caught and passed rival Chad Reed to increase his lead in the AMA Supercross championship.

The win was the sixth of the season for Carmichael, with his Team Makita Suzuki team-mate Sebastien Tortelli taking fourth place.

In the 125cc race, Grant langston battled his way past team-mate Matt Walker to take the win, with Steve Boniface thrid.
