Josh Coppins won both of the MX1 races at round four of the British Motocross Championship at Culham Moto Park in Oxfordshire at the weekend.

The New Zealander has returned to form after suffering an injury at the start of the season, and managed to qualify fastest before breaking away at the start of both races. Series leader Paul Cooper took second in the first race, with fellow Honda rider James Noble third. The pair swapped podium positions for the second race. The leading non-Honda was Yoshitaka Atsuta, who took a fifth and a fourth for Suzuki.

Paul Cooper leads the championship on 213 points, from Noble (203), Jussi Vehvilainen (194) and Coppins (174).

In MX2 Billy MacKenzie took the race one win from Carl Nunn and Tom Church, with the same three filling the podium after the second race, just with Nunn winning from Mackenzie and Church.

Carl Nunn leads the MX2 championship on 226 points from Church (194) Wayne Smith (172) and MacKenzie (168).
