Jones: funeral details

Red Bull Honda has withdrawn from round 11 of the British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park this weekend, as a mark of respect for Chris Jones, who died in a start-line incident at the last round at Cadwell Park.

His funeral will take place at St Mary De Wyche Church in Droitwich, Worcestershire on Monday, September 12, at 1pm. The Jones family has requested that donations to the Christopher Jones Memorial Fund will be gratefully recieved instead of flowers. The proceeds of that fund will go towards the medical, marshalling and safety services within the British Championship.
