The second round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championship takes place at Canada Heights in Kent on April 9, 2006 without series leader MX1 Josh Coppins.

The CAS Honda rider was injured at the opening round of the World MX championship and will be replaced by fellow New Zealander Scott Columb, while top Brit in round one, James Noble, will be looking to move up the podium. In MX2, Britain’s Carl Nunn will also be looking to improve from a first round third place, as his bike came to a standstill in the second race at Cadders Hill, dropping him from first to fifth in the race, and to third overall.
