Kiyonari tops BSB test

Ryuichi Kiyonari has gone fastest overall at a two day test at Snetteron on March 18 and 19, 2006.

The Japanese rider recorded a fastest time of 1:05.926, just quicker than HM Plant Honda team-mate Karl Harris, who managed a best time of 1:05.966.

Rizla Suzuki rider James Haydon was pleased to finish third overall, building speed throughout the weekend, and going quickest in the final session. He also managed to complete almost 150 laps, despite cold weather at the Norfolk circuit.

Red Bull Honda rider Jonathan Rea was fourth fastest, splitting Haydon and Suzuki team-mate shane Byrne. Yamaha’s Tommy Hill was sixth quickest.

The Rizla Suzuki squad wil test at Donington Park on March 21, and the 2006 BSB season begins at Brands Hatch on Sunday, March 26.

2. Harris 1:05.966.

3. Haydon 1:06.174.

4. Rea 1:06.212.

5. Byrne 1:06.934.

6. Hill 1:07.005.
