TT debut for Edmeades

English Superstock and former R6 Cup rider James Eadmeades will make his debut at the Isle of Man TT in 2006, riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 K6.

The 22-year-old will ride for Team Redline Racing in the Superbike, Superstock and Senior events. Edmeades will also compete in the 2006 British Superstock championship following a 2005 season whcih saw him finish third overall, with one win and three podium finishes.

“I’ve been a massive fan of road racing throughout by childhood,” said Edmeades. “It’s a fantastic opportunity and one I’m really looking forward to. A lot of effort has been put in by everyone and the guidance and support offered by the Mike Hailwood Foundation has been first class. Having people like Milky Quayle on hand giving advice is invaluable and although I’m under no illusions on how difficult it will be, i’m confident of giving a good account of myself.”
