Brit MX team announced

The British trio racing in the Motocross of Nations on September 23/24 have been finalised as Billy Mackenzie, Carl Nunn and Tommy Searle.

The final decision was made on following the MXGP at Lierop, Netherlands. In the event of an injury or illness, replacement riders can be drafted in, while arrangements are being made for several training/team building days in the run-up to the event.

“After the thrilling year we’ve had in the MX2 class with them locked in the season long battle for the British Championship they already have a very strong rivalry and mutual respect,” said ACU team manager Rob Herring. “The training days will enable the important ‘team spirit’ to develop after such a hard season.”

The MX des Nations will also see the final showdown for World MX1 champion Stefan Everts and AMA Motocross star Ricky Carmichael, as both aim to wind down their competitive careers at the end of the season.
