Rea heads BSB times

Jonathan Rea has gone fastest in the first free practice session for the penultimate round of British Superbikes at Silverstone on Septmeber 17, 2006.

The Red Bull Honda rider was the only person to drop below one minute 26 seconds in the session, heading factory Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari, and title rivals Leon Haslam and Gregorio Lavilla. Karl Harris was fifth fastest, with Shane Byrne sixth. James Haydonw as 13th on his return from injury
