Lady In White dies

Gwen Crellin, better known as the ‘Lady in White’ in the Isle of Man, has died at the age of 89.

Given the nickname by 10-time TT winner Giacomo Agostini, she was a marshall for many years, headed a number of fundraisers on the Island.

In 1994 Crellin received an MBE for her services to the IoM community and in respect of motorcycle racing.
