Harris confirms TT entry

Former TT winner Shaun Harris has confirmed his entry for the 2007 Isle of Man TT, after a deal announced prior to Christmas fell through.

The New Zealander last raced at the TT in 2004, and became a double winner in 2003. He has now secured machinery and support from Stewart Black of Black’s Bikeshop, for whom he’s ridden, and won, on previous occasions.

“Having been forced to miss out these last couple of years, I can’t wait to get back out there!” said Harris. “Stewart Black is supporting me with a brand new GSX-R1000 K7 for the Superbike, Senior and Superstock races, and although we’ll be using the same bike in all three races, we will fit a Superbike-spec engine and electrics, and Brembo brakes for the Superbike races.”

“My regular crew chief and friend Kevin Stephens will also be supplying me with a GSX-R600K6, and we’re currently in discussions regarding sponsorship. It’s a full World Supersport spec machine, and the main fcus is on securing a sponsor.”
