Rider identification in MotoGP

Lets hope we have a commentary by Jack Burnacle and James Whitham when the BEEB take over Moto GP. Sorry, but I have had enough of those two old women on Eurosport name dropping and boring us with pathetic stories when we should be having facts as to how other riders are positioned besides the top five.

I also think the racing for the spectator is now in danger of becoming as boring as F1. WSB and BSB now give better value in terms of close exciting racing. Can I ask MCN to use their influence to help improve the means of rider identification?

As a spectator at any circuit to identify which rider is one of two in a team is now very difficult. Visible numbering in WSB and Moto GP is now pathetic. Why can we not go back to how numbering was twenty years ago? BSB have just achieved this in 2008 with numering on the side fairing. I have recently emailed all appropriate personnel at FIM HQ with this request, I am not holding my breath! Riders can now only be identified by the colour of their helmet which is often changed between meetings.
