Steve Henshaw Gold Cup

Having visited Olivers Mount once again for the Gold Cup meeting I am again very disappointed in the amount of competitors.

It has been about five years since my last visit and spent a lot of the day listening to the ‘None Runners’ when the cost of getting into the circuit is fast approaching BSB prices. There was also a distinct lack of facilities and trade stands etc.

I do hope that the organisers start encouraging riders and traders to bring back some of the great atmosphere of previous years and would save the comentator having to pad it out.

On a positive note those who did race did a sterling job but would relish a larger field.
