Relentless TAS

TAS Suzuki are gearing up for BSB in 2008 thanks to a major sponsorship from Relentless – an energy drink targeted at active young people.

TAS are the highest-profile race team in Ireland, racing in British Supersport with Michael Laverty and Ian Lowry on GSX-R600s and the international road races with Bruce Anstey and Adrian Archibald across superbike, supersport and superstock classes but will become Suzuki’s second big team in BSB alongside the established Rizla Suzuki team next year.

Team owner Phillip Neil said: “My ambition has always been to take the team into BSB and now we’ll be able to make the move in 2008. Suzuki already have one major team in BSB (Rizla Suzuki) but they’re happy for us to move up – as long as we have a title sponsor to enable us to do the job properly. But right now we’ve got a hectic season ahead which covers British Supersport and the roads.”
