Cadwell Park British Superbikes: Injury update

British Superbike Race Director Stuart Higgs has released the following official statement concerning the rider injured in yesterday’s races at Cadwell Park.

Following his accident yesterday (Monday) in the British Supersport Championship race at Cadwell Park, James Dye remains in a serious but stable condition in Hull Royal Infirmary but is now able to breath without the use of a ventilator.    

Other riders injured yesterday in separate, unrelated accidents are also recovering.

Stu Wilson is in Leeds Hospital awaiting surgery for an open fracture of his left arm. 

Aaron Salinger has had a CT Scan to assess possible neck injuries which has proved negative and is expected to be discharged from Lincoln Hospital tomorrow (Wednesday).
