Snetterton British Superbikes: Michael Howarth to sit-out round five

Tena for Men Honda’s British Superbike Cup rider, Michael Howarth, has told MCN he will be sitting-out this weekend’s round at Snetterton after injuring himself in training earlier this week.

Howarth, who is currently seventh in the Daily Star Cup standings, told MCN: “I did a bit of training this week in the gym and popped my shoulder out.

“I’ve rested up in hope it would be okay and did five minutes out there this morning on the bike but I felt it pop out again.

“Snetterton probably isn’t the best place for a shoulder injury because you’re hanging on for dear life around here, so hopefully I’ll be back and fit for Mallory Park in two weekend’s time.”
