Easton keen to win at home

Stuart Easton is yet to take a win aboard his Hydrex Honda but he would love to break his duck at his home round of Knockhill.

He looked like a strong challenger for pole position but traffic and not getting into a rhythm held him back.

Easton said: “We only get to race here once a year and I missed it last year as I had a broken wrist, so it is good to be on the front row. There was only ten of us on track and it was still hard to get space and everyone was trying to get a tow. I never got into my rhythm, I need three laps but I was getting 49.1, and 49.1 I just couldn’t get beyond it. I’m a bit disappointed not to be on pole but I’m on the front row so it’s good. I’d like to win, if I can that would be great and if not a podium would be good to keep consistent. I’m sure the weather will play a big part in the race.”
