Wilson stays supersport with Gearlink for 2010

Gearlink Kawasaki has announced that Ben Wilson has signed for the 2010 season to challenge for the British Supersport championship on the Kawasaki ZX-6R. 

The Lincolnshire rider is currently fourth in the British Supersport Championship and has been on the podium num Commenting on the deal, Wilson was equally enthused: “It’s great to sign for Gearlink Kawasaki for 2010. It was an incredibly easy decision for me to make.  erous times this season, including Gearlink Kawasaki’s maiden win at Knockhill in July.

Team Owner Michael de Bidaph was keen to capitalise on the work put in by both the team and Wilson for next season. He said: “We are absolutely delighted to secure Ben for the 2010 season. This year, Ben and the Kawasaki ZX-6R have proved to be an extremely competitive package and we have seen some strong results.”

The final BSS round takes place at Oulton this Sunday with Gearlink Kawasaki riders out in force. Joining Ben will be South African ace, Hudson Kennaugh, and recently crowned Junior Superstock champion, Jamie Hamilton.

The team has also brought in 125 star Tim Hastings, who will make his debut in the Junior Superstock championship.
