BSB Croft: Camier extends his advantage

1 of 1

Leon Camier was predictably the fastest in this afternoon’s second free practice session of the Croft MCE BSB race weekend.

The Airwaves Yamaha rider posted a time that was 0.762s quicker than his closest rival, Ian Lowry on the Relentless Suzuki.

Staurt Easton slipped to third, trying a new KR swing-arm on the Hydrex Honda for this first time this year.

Simon Andrews, having visited the Belgian surgeon last week to get further treatment on his scaphoid injury, posted fourth quickest time ahead of Camier’s team-mate James Ellsion.

Tommy Hill slipped from third to sixth in the times this afternoon but is continuing to make good progress with the Hydrex Honda.

HM Plant Honda duo Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari are still getting to grips with the Croft circuit: Brookes is ninth overall and Kiyo is 14th.

Sylvain Guintoli is 15th on the Wrox Suzuki but the team are confident he’ll be on the pace tomorrow. Karl Harris is also settling himself into the very differentpower delivery of the Node 4 Yamaha with it’s crossplane crank compared to the conventional Hydrex Honda he rode previously. He was 16th in the times.
