BSB: Brookes takes race one win at Brands Hatch

Pole starter Shane Byrne crashed out on lap 14 of the first race of the MCE BSB Championship at Brands Hatch whilst attempting to overtake eventual winner, Josh Brookes on his Tyco Suzuki.

Having taken the lead on the fourth lap, Australian Brookes held on for the win and to narrow the lead of ‘Shakey’ Byrne to just ten points at the top of the championship.
