Aaron Zanotti is set to become the 39th rider on the 2015 MCE British Superbike grid, making a switch from Suzuki to the brand new Yamaha R1. The Loughborough resident also has a new sponsor, with A-Plant, one of the UK’s largest plant, tool and equipment hire companies, coming onboard as title sponsor.

Zanotti said: “The new R1 looks awesome. Yamaha have incorporated so much race technology into the new bike, so we think it will be the one to beat. I’m confident we can achieve consistent top ten finishes on the new A-Plant Yamaha R1.

“We need to say a huge thank you to A-Plant for stepping up again and putting their faith in me and the team, but also to BOC Gas and Gear, Already Hire, R & Z Auto Salvage and Rough Media. It’s been a long winter of training and preparing for the new season, but now I can’t wait to go racing!”

Asif Latief, Marketing Director at A-Plant commented: “We are delighted to be associated with the British Superbike Championship and to sponsor Aaron Zanotti again. With the switch to Yamaha and a lot of hard work, we are confident he and the A-Plant Yamaha team will achieve good results this season.”
