Easton confident for home race

Stuart Easton says he’s looking forward to getting to his home round of the MCE British Superbike championship at Knockhill, after getting his least favourite track of the season out of the way last weekend at Snetterton.

“Snetterton is always my least favourite circuit on the calendar so to come away with a sixth and a seventh is not a bad day at all. It was difficult out there and I was struggling in the last sector so it was a case of hanging on. The team gave me a great bike and it kept me in touch so a big thanks to them. Staying in a good fourth overall is what I wanted and I can look forward to my home round at Knockhill now where I’ll be looking to fly the Scottish flag high.”

“At the end of last season we were pushing in the top five and since then it hasn’t been perfect at every round but we have definitely been in the mix. We keep moving forward, but so does everyone else, but my confidence is growing all the time and the jigsaw is coming together. We were on the podium at Knockhill last year so I really would like that to happen again!”
