Swedish suspension specialists Ohlins are set to expand their presence in the MCE British Superbike Championship further for 2015, as they add a host of top level factory supported teams to their stable.

Supported teams in BSB this year will include the all-new Milwaukee Yamaha R1s, Honda Racing’s return to the championship after a year out, the JG Speedfit Kawasakis of James Ellison and James Westmoreland, and RAF Reserves BMW, Halsall Suzuki and WD40 Kawasaki.

The expansion comes as part of a drive to increase support in national racing, and will see Ohlins technicians in racing series in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, and the USA, as well as the UK. Dedicated race manager Rich Brendish will lead the British team, the biggest of the national projects.

Ohlins Product Manager, Robert Brinkmark, said “Our presence in National Superbike Championships is at a very high level for 2015 as we look to strengthen our support for teams in all classes. These diverse events and their different regulations give us an opportunity to expand our already extensive R&D knowledge to machinery and circuits not already on the MotoGP and World Superbike schedule.”
