BSB: Action set to resume at Cheshire's Oulton Park

1 of 1

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship rolls in to Oulton Park for the third round of the 2018 season over May Bank Holiday as the established regulars set about chasing down young gun Bradley Ray’s lead.

The Buildbase Suzuki rider leads the series by ten points over six-time champ Shane Byrne, but returning to the scene of his first ever BSB podium, where he finished just 0.1 seconds off winner Dan Linfoot, he’s sure to continue his strong start to the year this weekend.

Having clinched a surprise victory in the wet last time out at Brands Indy, Leon Haslam will be looking to make hay at a circuit he’s been strong at in recent years.

After a tough start to 2018, Josh Brookes will be looking to return to winning ways after a series of tests with the McAMS Yamaha team between the two rounds as they look to solve their rear grip issues.

After a podium last time out, Tyco BMW’s Michael Laverty will be keen to retain his front-running form while local lad Christian Iddon will be looking to take to the rostrum for the first time this year.

Honda’s Dan Linfoot will be absent from proceedings after breaking his C6 vertebrae in a free practice crash at Brands Hatch.
