Luke Hedger has re-signed for the Whitecliffe CDH Racing team for his 2025 Bennetts British Superbike Championship campaign.

Hedger will jump onboard a Honda Fireblade following the team’s decision to part ways with Kawasaki for next season. 2024 marked Hedger’s maiden campaign in the superbike class, with the 2013 National Superstock 600 champion securing a best result of 12th at Knockhill.

“I am really excited to be staying with Dean and the CDH Racing crew, they are like my racing family now and I can’t thank them enough for giving me a second year in the Superbike class,” Hedger said.

“I am really looking forward to jumping on the Honda and pushing my way towards the sharp end. Now my focus is on being fitter, stronger and ready for my first laps in testing.”

Alongside his Superstock 600 title success in 2013, Hedger also became British Motostar Champion in 2012. In 2023, Hedger finished 10th in the National Superstock Championship after taking a best result of fifth on two occasions.

“We’re really happy to keep Luke for a second year; the first year in the Superbike class is always difficult, but Luke provided some good results and showed great potential,” CDH Racing Team Owner, Dean Hipwell said.

“With Luke having a full year’s experience on the grid, us entering our seventh year in the Superbike class, and swapping to Honda we’re hoping this will give us that extra step we’re aiming for. I am also delighted that we have Whitecliffe returning as our title sponsor and we are all looking forward to getting started with the new season.”

Whitecliffe CDH Racing aren’t the only team to swap Kawasaki for Honda in 2025. DAO Racing have also made the change and will field a strong line-up consisting of Lee Jackson and Josh Brookes next season.
