Colin Edwards has completed his first test on the Honda RC211V he will race in 2004.

The American rode in a private test at the Catalunya circuit in Spain for half a day on Tuesday, November 4.

MCN’s Trevor Franklin was also at the circuit to ride Honda’s RC211V, Yamaha’s M1 and Ducati’s Desmosedici for an exclusive test in MCN, November 12.

” It’s so easy, ” was the first thing Edwards said when he came in. ” It’s awesome. The only thing I can compare it to is jumping straight from my RC45 on to the SP-2 ”

Edwards won the World Superbike title in 2000 and 2002 with Honda before switching to GPs with Aprilia in 2003.

” I guess you could say I have paid my dues for a year, but now I’m back with Honda, and I’m really looking forward to it. ”
